10 Biggest Conflicts in 2013
Since the beginning of times there
are have been millions of conflicts that have lasted for s very long time.
2013 was a year filled with fairly recent conflicts and some very old
conflicts. Louise Arbour wrote a great article about the top 10 conflicts
of 2013 which is called "10 Conflicts to watch in 2013". This article
explains all the conflict in a very detailed manner.
Here is the Link
to the article:
I am amazed by all
the conflicts in that article mainly because some of the conflicts are as old
as 10 years old and they are still fighting. The worst part is that those are
only the top 10. There are thousands of other conflicts that are still going on
today and have been going on for decades. Another thing that amazes me is that
even if one conflict ends or improves; 5 or 6 or 7 more emerge. If all this
conflicts keep on growing and growing we will not have a world to live in
because it will be just a huge warzone. The UN needs to pull their shit
together and do some serious decisions that will actually help fix these
problems instead of sitting around vetoing ideas that could eventually save
millions of lives.
